While at IBM, I was an active volunteer in the global intern community. Our goal was to connect interns globally to learn from each others diverse backgrounds and skillset which was imperative during the COVID-19 pandemic and world of remote working. Within this group, I lead the transformation of our branding and launched the first ever global intern newsletter.

Despite the presence of multiple sub-teams, the global intern squad lacked visual coherence. By collaborating with the university recruitment team and incorporating their brand guidelines, I established a consistent visual identity from recruitment to employment, resulting in a powerful, uniform brand.
I led this digital transformation by redesigning the microsite, creating new communications for each sub-team and training our team with the new guidelines using impactful visuals.
Introducing In-Letter, the first global intern newsletter. As the UX lead, I designed and implemented our design system featuring a style guide, components, and patterns. By using variants, even our non-design members could easily drag and drop assets to create the newsletter.
In-letter earned the title of "Best newsletter in IBM" and engaged over 200 interns. Before finishing my internship, I helped onboard a whole team of interns to the newsletter which is still being continued, 2 years later.
Furthermore, it inspired the leadership team to explore interactive approaches for internal communications.
